Water is the foundation of all life.
In 2025, the Latvian Association of Fish and Crayfish Farmers (LVZAA) took part in the LAPAS (Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation) project competition and was among the supported projects. The aim of the project is to raise awareness of water as an essential resource for life and thereby promote its sustainable use.
Within the project, two exchange visits are planned: two people from Latvia will travel to Rwanda, and two people from Rwanda will visit Latvia. During the visits, participants will meet with local communities, share their experiences and insights, and afterwards spread this knowledge further in their own countries.
More about the project will be shared here and on Facebook: facebook.com/kalanisia
The project is co-funded by the European Union.
